Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Simply Flowers, we are continually looking for ways to make our business more sustainable and reduce our environmental impact.
We have invested in solar panels and use an electric delivery vehicle. Our bouquets are wrapped in paper and finished with natural raffia, helping us move away from unnecessary plastics.
In our funeral work, we use more environmentally conscious materials where we can, including plant-based Renewal floral foam on a compostable base. When plastic bases are required, we choose recyclable bases made from recycled plastic, along with biodegradable foam.
We have also worked closely with our waste management company to ensure that none of our waste is sent to landfill. By carefully sorting and processing waste streams, materials are recycled, recovered or managed through more sustainable disposal methods wherever possible.
We know there is always more to do, but we are committed to making thoughtful changes that are kinder to the planet while still creating beautiful, meaningful floral designs for our customers and their families.
